Acura NSX
STATUS: Unchanged for 2020 - The most unique aspect of this mid-engine two-seat supercar - other than it being the most expensive model that Honda/Acura has ever sold - is the hybrid propulsion system consisting of two electric motors powering the front wheels, plus a third motor connected to the nine-speed transmission of the twin-turbo V-6 that drives the rears. The net result of this gasoline-electric mélange is 573 horsepower and 476 pound-feet of torque. The NSX has four operational modes: "Quiet" minimizes the V-6's operation; "Sport" is the standard setting; and "Sport Plus" and "Track" are for all-out performance. The suspension also has two settings. Extra-cost options include fade-free carbon-ceramic brakes, and a carbon-fiber roof, rear spoiler and other pieces. For 2019, the NSX received a revised (stiffer) front suspension and steering system tweaks to make it more responsive. Base price (incl. destination): $159,500
