GMC Yukon/Yukon XL
STATUS: Unchanged for 2020 - GMC's king-sized wagons are specialists at heavy hauling, towing and people transporting in all kinds of road conditions. Although both the regular-length and extended XL configurations can swallow up to nine people, the XL's added room is dedicated to cargo capacity. Both cabins include a fashionable dashboard and control panel, complete with a five- or available eight-inch color touch-screens that work the infotainment and communications systems. Like virtually all GM-built vehicles, Yukons come with Wi-Fi Internet connectivity for all aboard as part of a paid subscription through GM's OnStar assist. Both regular- and extended-length models come in SLE, mid-level SLT and Denali trim levels. Among the Denali's extra touches is a power-fold-and-tumble third-row bench, second-row bucket seats, hands-free power liftgate, wireless phone charging and a Bose-brand 10-speaker surround-sound audio system. It's anticipated that all-new Yukon and Yukon XL models will arrive sometime in calendar 2020.
