Infiniti QX60
STATUS: Unchanged for 2020 - The brand's best-selling model makes a compelling case for consideration as a family wagon. Add in attractive pricing and the QX60 becomes a practical indulgence that wins out over any number of traditional premium-priced sedans and wagons. For its most recent updating, the seven-passenger wagon received a bolder mesh-style grille and new headlights and fog lights that blend neatly in with the vehicle's striking sheetmetal. The passenger compartment has standard leather-covered seats for the first two rows, maple-wood panel inserts and plenty of places to stow valuables. Improvements to the vehicle's road manners included a retuning of the front and rear suspensions and a faster-acting power steering unit that requires fewer turns to parallel park. The standard engine is a 295-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that's also found in numerous Infiniti and Nissan models. It's linked to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with built-in "steps" that simulate a traditional geared automatic. A wide range of dynamic-safety tech is available.
