STATUS: Unchanged for 2019 - The former Equus luxury sedan (rebadged as the G90 for 2017) is part of Hyundai's freestanding Genesis brand that recently welcomed the smaller G70 to the fold. But where the G80 mostly still wears Genesis The flagship luxury model is basically a stretched version of the G80. Overall length is longer by two inches, while there's an extra 4.5 inches between the front and rear wheels. The result is limo-like legroom for rear passengers that, like those up front, are treated to heated, cooled and available power adjustable seats (standard on V-8 models). The base G90 3.3 Premium operates with a 365-horspower V-6, while the 5.0 Ultimate receives a 420-horsepower V-8 that's also optional in the G80. Both powerplants are equipped with eight-speed transmissions and can also be fitted with all-wheel-drive. The complete list of G90 standard features goes on forever and includes virtually every piece of active safety technology imaginable.
